Connection

Universities and other Danish research institutions can join the research network.

Universities, research institutions, other public institutions and Danish companies with a significant research element as well as colleges affiliated with a university can join the Research Network.

Can my dormitory be connected to the Research Network?

DeiC offers the country's colleges with students in higher education to enter into an agreement on direct connection to the research network.

Connection

The colleges must themselves or in collaboration with, for example, the university provide the connection to the research network POP, where the research network provides a suitable interface.

DeiC is happy to help arrange purchase/rental from relevant infrastructure providers.

Contact Head of Network Operations Jan Ferre, phone 35 88 82 25.

The colleges' responsibility

The connection agreement requires that the colleges comply with DeiC's rules on responsibility and use of the research network. The college must respond immediately to inquiries from DKCERT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) about misuse of the network.
