DeiC has been appointed by the Danish Government to implement part of the national quantum strategy.

DeiC is implementing the strategy's third focus area "Improved access to digital research infrastructure" and across DeiC we cover 4 key pillars for Quantum Infrastructure:

  • Quantum Competence development (Q-Competence)
  • Quantum Algorithm and Software development (Q-Algorithm)
  • Access to testing on Quantum Computers (Q-Access)
  • Project partcipation on Quantum Communication (Q-Net)

DeiC has been allocated 50 million DKK from the Research Reserve in 2023, 40 million DKK in 2024 and 40 millions DKK in 2025.
