European Open Science Cloud (EOSC)
The European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) brings together stakeholders, initiatives and data infrastructures with a vision to build a unified infrastructure for research data and services based on the FAIR principles.
The ambition of the European Open Science Cloud is that European infrastructure can be accessed and used across borders and disciplines in a web of FAIR data and services.
Under the auspices of EOSC, projects are funded that aim to promote Open Science and the FAIR principles. DeiC participates in the EOSC Association and in several EOSC projects.
EOSC Association
The EOSC Association is the legal entity behind an EOSC partnership that institutions in Europe can join. DeiC has been appointed by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science to be the Danish "mandated member" and represents Denmark in the association. The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science participates in the EOSC Steering Board.
DeiC participates to varying degrees with the universities in a number of Horizon Europe projects associated with EOSC.
