Take the stage: Call for presentations for the DeiC Conference 2026
DeiC invites all participants to contribute to the 2026 conference, which this year focuses on digital research infrastructure in a troubled world.
The conference targets professionals within the areas of HPC, Data Management, Networks and Services, Security or Quantum - either at technician, specialist, research support or management level. As a researcher, you are also very welcome
The DeiC conference is held at:
Comwell Kolding, Skovbrynet 1, 6000 Kolding
Organizer: DeiC
Registration: Opens Monday, June 1.
How do we as a sector prepare for a reality characterized by uncertainty, increasing demands and new digital threats?
This question is the focal point of the DeiC Conference 2026, where the theme Digital research infrastructure in a troubled world takes up the thread from last year's focus on digital sovereignty. While last year's conference focused on long-term ambitions, this year we zoom in on what we can do here and now to strengthen the resilience of digital research infrastructure. This includes how to ensure that research data is both protected and accessible in a world that is moving in a more closed direction, how to strengthen collaboration on threat detection and preparedness across the sector, and how to create secure and efficient access to the large European HPC resources in interaction with initiatives like EuroHPC and EOSC.
Share your experiences and help shape the program
This year we invite all participants to contribute to the program by sharing experiences and good local solutions.
Maybe you work close to operations as a technician, are involved in research support, or maybe you work with strategic development or organization of the digital research infrastructure. The most important thing is that you have experiences from your everyday life that can inspire others - whether it's solutions that have made work more agile, new ways of collaborating across disciplines, implementation of systems and processes or initiatives that have strengthened knowledge sharing and common direction.
We are open to formats. For example, you can give a short presentation, demonstrate a solution or tool, or facilitate a workshop or group exercise.
The deadline is Monday, August 10, 2026
We review submissions continuously, so early submission increases your opportunities for feedback and program space.
