DC4EU
The DC4EU project has looked at how to implement the eIDAS Trust Framework and Digital Wallets in Europe in education and healthcare.
DC4EU project will look at how to implement the eIDAS Trust Framework and Digital Wallets in Europe in two areas: education and health insurance (the A1 certificate for social security when working abroad and the blue EU health card). The idea was that users would be able to store their attributes themselves when traveling out of the country in the same way you can have your driver's license on your phone. With the new EU initiative, your Digital Wallet would be valid across borders in the EU.
The project was led by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Digital Transformation. It involved 82 organizations from 23 countries (21 EU countries + Norway and Ukraine). DeiC Forskningsnettet was the Danish partner and was responsible for the educational use case in Denmark.
