Register-based research (KOR)

KOR is an advisory body under the Danish e-infrastructure Consortium, which works to improve the framework for Danish register-based research. KOR will help create greater coherence and coordination around Danish and international data resources and their use.

KOR members and secretariat

KOR consists of Danish researchers who are engaged in register-based research and who have in-depth knowledge of the potential of Danish registers and associated resources, and of the barriers and challenges that may exist as researchers doing register-based research. Each of the Danish universities is represented by 1-2 members in KOR, and the rest of the Danish analytical environment, such as sector research institutions, is represented by 2 members. KOR's chairperson is appointed by DeiC's board of directors.

The members are appointed by the universities and Independent Research Fund Denmark, and the ambition is for KOR to represent and embrace the breadth of register-based research. Registry research is often interdisciplinary, and therefore an interdisciplinary starting point is a priority in the composition of KOR.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact the representative of your university or organization.
