A working group from KU and AAU is gaining new insight into the National range of learning opportunities within these technologies.

"The objective is to create an overview of courses and study programs within High Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High Performance Data Analysis (HPDA), and identify ways of strengthening the National competences," says Kenneth Skovhede from KU, who is the project lead on the work package "Training and skills development" within the EuroCC project.

"We examine the National opportunities for education within HPC and related topics such as AI, Machine Learning (ML) and Data Analysis. Our work has ensured that data now is collected for courses offered by AU, AAU, DTU and KU. We are in the process of mapping data and looking at differences and overlap," continues Kenneth Skovhede.

In this first part of the analysis, the collection process takes place partly with an automated machine learning approach in parallel with a manual analysis. The analysis will later be expanded to also include courses from all National actors. It is expected that more details are available in the Fall of 2021.
